Another Artisan Works wedding! This time for the small and intimate wedding for Tim & Tom. Same sex marriage became legal in New York in June this year! This is a wonderful step in the right direction, as NY is now the most populous state to legally wed gay couples. The mood was the same as any wedding, except there was a big cheer when they walked down the aisle together.

So, these two crazy love birds had a pretty explosive rise to the altar. And the wedding was no different. The ceremony was downstairs from the historic German House in Rochester’s South Wedge neighborhood… downstairs in The Keg! The sun was shining, laughter was flowing, no rapture to be found and just fun fun fun.

The last stop on the vacation train was to visit my younger sister, Smelly. I mean, Meghan. Meghan has a habit (or curse) of living in small, out of the way towns… and therefore I’ve never visited. Until now. Now she can’t yell at me. Now I’ve had beer and coffee in her current small, [...]

I swear that each of my clients actually attempt to out-do each other! How else did I end up with not one, but 3 photo shoots during heavy snowfall this year? And it is only January. Snowing Engagement Photos weren’t enough for this adventurous couple… they wanted to be skiing too! I have to say, it was a very cold day.

What a fun Engagement Session in down town Corning with Stephanie and John for their upcoming wedding in Rochester, NY. The timing was perfect, as I had to be in Binghamton later in the day. We also had just reached the absolute peak of Fall colors in upstate NY!

Wow wow wow! I am so so so happy that my friend, Dawn, talked me into taking the day off to check out Bristol Mountain’s Fall Sky Rides! Being so swamped with work to do… albums, wediting, holiday planning…. I really didn’t think that taking a whole day off was a good idea….

Julia & Shawn are both so so fun and silly together, so it was obviously a blast following them around on their wedding day at Sweet Briar in Geneseo, NY! This was a gorgeous outdoor ceremony with a tent reception and super secret fireworks to end the evening. A gorgeous day for a gorgeous couple!
