I had heard a lot about Haley & Lianna, so getting to meet a bunch of Grace’s friends was a treat. Couple that with the fact that same-sex marriage in NY was finally legalized, I had to go…

My Dad is a rock star. He raised over $10,000 for the Leukemia Society and biked from Houston to Niagara Falls as part of the HPD Bike Relay Team. I was able to see him complete the 2250 mile journey.

The last stop on the vacation train was to visit my younger sister, Smelly. I mean, Meghan. Meghan has a habit (or curse) of living in small, out of the way towns… and therefore I’ve never visited. Until now. Now she can’t yell at me. Now I’ve had beer and coffee in her current small, [...]

This installment of ‘the rochester wedding photographer’s vacation’ comes to you from sunny New Jersey. One of my oldest and dearest friends, Marc, lives in norther NJ near a lake. It was a pleasure to be able to drink with him, hike with him and beat him at Wii bowling. That was about all there was time for, but it was sunny and warm, so an excellent time.

After the Photo North East Convention, it was time for a vacation around the East coast. So many friends that I haven’t seen in years… My first visit was in NYC to [...]

I took a few days off around Christmas to visit my family in Texas. This was the first time since 2004 that the entire family was together for the holiday. I was able to squeeze in a very short visit to Austin one day and also take family portraits for my oldest friend!

Wales was a fast and emotional trip, but worth it! I have returned and am back at work. This trip was all about visiting with my family and there was plenty of that. I even got the cousins together for a pub crawl one night. I was also able to check 2 more castles off of my list and do a bit of hiking. A highlight was finally seeing heather in bloom on the Welsh mountains!

Trisha & Neil’s wedding images are now online! That means that I am free to leave the country! HA! Anyway, I will be out of the office and away from the business until Sept. 30th. This is a much needed family trip, so all patience while I am away is appreciated.
