Summer has been a busy one this year, even though my weddings have been spread out pretty evenly… One of the activities that is keeping my occupied is being President of the Greater Rochester Professional Photographers (GRPP). Well, every August [...]

On a cold and snowy day, a few ladies wore their old wedding dress from previous marriages out for a day of play. Playing in the cemetery, sledding and bar hopping were all on the agenda and the ladies felt liberated by the end! This was a group Trash the Wedding Dress, complete with a Bridesmaid!

Artisan Works is an amazing location for event photography in the Rochester area. Penfield High School’s Alumni held their 20th Reunion at Artisan Works during Thanksgiving weekend. The event was a lot of fun to watch, as people shared photos of their kids and some recreated their prom photo!

McKay’s Photography was honored to be asked to donate services again this year to the South East Area Coalition holiday fundraiser! This event is dear to my heart because I am a big big fan of living in the city of Rochester and taking advantage of all the South East area has to offer. For the past 3 years, Heather has donated a Portrait Session to the live auction as well as photograph the evening of merriment.

Heather was a judge in this year’s Childcare Council Kids Photography Contest! She also presented the 1st place awards at gala held at Artisan Works. How fun it was to actually attend an event there, without being the Photographer.

Wales was a fast and emotional trip, but worth it! I have returned and am back at work. This trip was all about visiting with my family and there was plenty of that. I even got the cousins together for a pub crawl one night. I was also able to check 2 more castles off of my list and do a bit of hiking. A highlight was finally seeing heather in bloom on the Welsh mountains!

Trisha & Neil’s wedding images are now online! That means that I am free to leave the country! HA! Anyway, I will be out of the office and away from the business until Sept. 30th. This is a much needed family trip, so all patience while I am away is appreciated.

What a FUN High School Graduation Party and what generous parents! Adam is the sweetest Graduate and really loves and appreciates all the support his parents have given him, in addition to this killer Graduation Party! We had a blast the whole night at Artisan Works and Tim, Louis and Victoria did a bang up job as usual.
