Bristol Harbour Wedding with Daniela & Brad – Now Online!  :: September 28th, 2010

A beautiful day for a beautiful couple. Daniela and Brad are amazing. Just really calm and fun people. They made me laugh all day and really seemed to enjoy themselves throughout the entire day. The wedding ceremony and reception were all at Bristol Harbour Resort, overlooking Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes. The Fall colors on the trees were turning and it was a perfect 68 degrees. Maybe a little chilly, if you ask the ladies. Luckily, they had their flasks to help keep them warm!

Brad was a mobster vision in his super awesome hat… which ended up on his brother’s head the entire day! Between the flasks and the hat, I was laughing nearly the entire day. Trying to get anything normal out of these two was an interesting feat and luckily, I don’t really like normal anyway! The ceremony was wonderful. Mark Dibelka took the time to get to know the story of these two and that is right up my ally. I always find it nice to hear about the road people take to get to the alter… how life just has a way of drawing people together.

The reception was in the Great Room at Bristol Harbour and I love that room because there is a ton of space to move around and the view is amazing! The DJ was also well informed about the couple and their Bridal Party, so it was a nice change to be at a wedding where the names were pronounced correctly and also we got to hear a little bit about each person as they were being introduced! I highly recommend Patsy Castronova from The Karaoke Kid & DJ Company. Pleasant men to work with and they both did a professional job throughout the entire day. For those of you wondering where those awesome cupcakes came from… they came from the Pittsford, NY Dolce Cupcakery. YUM! And I love all words that end in ‘ery’. Cupcakery is a fun word.

Random tidbit #1: The Florist, Personal Designs Inc., had a Krudco sticker on her car (local skateboard shop)…. so we get to talking, and her and I were both slated to work the wedding of Krudco‘s owner, which was originally scheduled for Friday the 24th! We would have worked both weddings together this weekend, had the Krudco wedding happened as planned. A little bizarre, since we had never met!

Random tip from the Groom: If you have 2 years to plan the wedding, do not wait until the week prior to get the programs printed… there isn’t enough time to redo them!

Here is a link to their Engagement Photos in downtown Rochester… several of you were asking about them:

The rest of their wedding images will be ready in a few weeks, so keep checking back or send me an email if you would like to see them right away. There are so many fun candids from the day and I can’t wait to go through the rest of these images!! Thank you, Brad and Daniela for hiring me to capture this amazing event and a bigger thank you to Brad for his service in Iraq! It has been an honor working with you.

Hi, my daughter is getting married there in May. Your pictures are great btw! Looks like a lot of fun. May I ask what entrees you chose? I am not sure about the chicken. Thanks.
