Childcare Council Photography Contest :: October 17th, 2009
McKay’s Photography was a judge in this year’s Childcare Council Kids Photography Contest! She also presented the 1st place awards at gala held at Artisan Works. How fun it was to actually attend an event there, without being the Photographer. There were three judges, Heather McKay, Steve Craddock and Holly Farrell. We had fun looking at all of the submissions and choosing our favorites. I also had a great time presenting the first place winner in each age group with their plaque McKay’s Photography provided as well as a trophy and coupons for area kid friendly outings (like the zoo!). It was an honor and a lot of fun to be included in this event as well as to donate my expertise and time for this event. Congratulations to Nick Nicowski (9-12 year olds), Bailey Lusk (5-8 year olds) and Reese DeVito (3-4 year olds, photo above) for being the first place winners in your category!
