Kai’s Senior Portraits!  :: November 3rd, 2008

After a whole lot of talk… we finally got to run amuck together this weekend! It was really chilly, but the light was nice and soft. Annoyingly, the legal graffiti wall near Village Gate is fenced off all of a sudden. So not cool. We were able to poach the area anyway and we mostly stayed on the non-fenced side of things.

Kailey is one of the snowboarders that I have photographed for the last few years at the annual Boarding for Breast Cancer events at Hunt Hollow. I am so excited that we are able to work together on her High School Senior Portraits! I photographed her extended family this summer, as her Grandfather is an old friend of mine! I didn’t even know that until that last portrait session when she showed up. Strange how things work out sometimes. Well, we reconnected this summer and decided I would take her official Senior Portraits! Yay!

We had so much fun this weekend just running around and playing. Kai has SO much energy and rarely sits still. She also laughs CONSTANTLY! It was actually hard to get a few images without her smiling! That’s rare! We also did several series shots of her many crazy facial expressions. I can’t wait to put together her Senior Book, so that we can use them all!

Thanks, Kai! I’ll see you out on the mountain in a few weeks for some shredding! I can’t wait for the snow!
