Halloween! :: November 3rd, 2008
Halloween is always my favorite holiday! I have so much fun coming up with costume ideas, and most of which are right up in my attic. Seriously. I collect costumes of all sorts. Lots of vintage clothing too. Before I was a Wedding Photographer, I used to get my friends drunk and in these clothes and take pictures of them. Weddings seem to be a natural progression on that theme, really. Anyway, the weeks leading up to Halloween usually encompass many people raiding my attic for ideas. That is fun for me because I like to know that my collecting is not in vain. Otherwise, I’m just a pack rat, really. Anyway, this year I decided to go as a Zombie Cheerleader! FUN! I saw a “Zombies for Obama” button and I really wish I had it to wear! Would have been hilarious.
So, Friday night I went to 2 parties and Lux, then Saturday was my party with my co-host, Ann. It was great to see so many people stop by from all of the corners of my life. There was a Joe the Plumber and Joe Six-Pack. So that was fun. My favorite costume was the Professional Biker… complete with syringes hanging off of him! Awesome!
