McKay’s Photography has continued the quest to decrease the carbon footprint in the wedding photography industry with some cool new product lines! 2009 was a wonderful year and I was blessed with yet another round of top notch clients that handed me award winning wedding and portraits! The focus for 2010 will be to refine my product lines and to work even closer with each client to build a better future…
On a cold and snowy day, a few ladies wore their old wedding dress from previous marriages out for a day of play. Playing in the cemetery, sledding and bar hopping were all on the agenda and the ladies felt liberated by the end! This was a group Trash the Wedding Dress, complete with a Bridesmaid!
2009 was an amazing year! I was honored to be the Program Chairperson for the Greater Rochester Professional Photographers and it was one heck of a ride! The end of the year party at Artisan Works was a HUGE success, as we actually overflowed to another room! For 2010, I will be the GRPP President and I am absolutely excited to continue the momentum the group is on!!
Artisan Works is an amazing location for event photography in the Rochester area. Penfield High School’s Alumni held their 20th Reunion at Artisan Works during Thanksgiving weekend. The event was a lot of fun to watch, as people shared photos of their kids and some recreated their prom photo!
McKay’s Photography was honored to be asked to donate services again this year to the South East Area Coalition holiday fundraiser! This event is dear to my heart because I am a big big fan of living in the city of Rochester and taking advantage of all the South East area has to offer. For the past 3 years, Heather has donated a Portrait Session to the live auction as well as photograph the evening of merriment.
